Using essential oils on your skin is as easy as blending 10-15 drops of your favorite NOVO combo with one tablespoon of Mix It Up base. This simple blend can create an ultra-fragrant, task oriented bath, body, or massage oil. Need a burst of energy after your morning shower? Three drops each of lemon, rosemary and peppermint should do the trick.
As an alternative, the next time you’re shopping for body lotion, select a fragrance free variety. Add a few pumps to a small dish, top it off with 3-5 drops of your favorite NOVO combo and you’ve got a custom blended lotion that can change as often as your mood.
Ready for bed? A drop or two of lavender and patchouli can help take the edge off a long day. Just add them to a few pumps of unscented lotion before calling it quits.
NOVO Facto: Aside from lavender and tea tree, essential oils should always be diluted in your Mix It Up Base or unscented lotion before being applied to the skin. Many essential oils like lemongrass, cinnamon and clove to name a very, can be caustic and irritating to the skin. Patch test first if you have any concerns. |
