Camphor has a penetrating, medicinal aroma that smells a bit like Ben Gay or mothballs. It's also used in chest rubs and balms for muscles and joints and is an ingredient in Carmex lip balm. For a natural alternative to commercial mothballs, scent cotton balls with a few drops of camphor instead.
Because of Camphor's potency, this oil should be used with care. Pregnant women or people suffering from epilepsy and asthma should not use it.
